Overview
The HY 2D DTG (Reactive) targets reactive color depth and a soft hand-feel on light or natural-color cotton textiles. Its wash-free process eliminates the washing line and wash-water discharge, while the six-color no-white layout avoids a white-ink circulation and maintenance system. Automatic in-line jetted pre-treatment, integrated pre-treatment drying and printing are followed by steam fixation for a preset time, then drying to the finished state.
Built for wash-free reactive DTG
Reactive color depth and soft hand-feel, with no washing line. The printer uses
a six-color no-white layout for light or natural-color cotton applications,
avoiding a dedicated white-ink circulation and maintenance system.
Automatic in-line jetted pre-treatment is followed by integrated pre-treatment
drying, printing, steam fixation for a preset time and final drying. Wash-free
means the washing stages and wash-water discharge are removed. Steam fixation
remains in the process.
Consumable formulations and supply options are maintained in the
Consumables catalogue; this page covers the printer and line
configuration.
Automatic in-line jetted pre-treatment applies the process liquid without a separate manual spray step.
Integrated pre-treatment drying follows before printing.
6-color no-white ink system
The six-color no-white layout removes the white-ink circulation and maintenance system entirely, with no white-ink stirring, recirculation or head maintenance overhead.
Industrial steamer (optional)
Steam fixation remains in the process for a preset time and is followed by drying.
The optional industrial steamer is planned as external line equipment; the washing stages are removed.

FAQ
Questions before you configure
How is colorfastness maintained when the process is Wash-free?
The route retains steam fixation for a preset time and then removes residual moisture by drying. It is positioned for vivid color, a soft hand-feel and high color fastness; verified ratings and the supporting test report will be published at launch. Buyer-specific fabric should be qualified before production planning is finalized.
Why does HY 2D DTG (Reactive) not use white ink?
The six-color channel layout is optimized for light and natural-color cotton textiles, so it does not use a white-ink underbase. This removes the white-ink circulation, stirring, recirculation and head-maintenance overhead.
Is an industrial steamer required, and how much floor space does it need?
Steam fixation remains part of the process and is followed by drying. The industrial steamer is an optional line item; its equipment footprint, service clearances and utility connections are resolved during line planning.
How should I choose between HY 2D DTG (Reactive) and HY 2D DTG (Pigment)?
Choose the Reactive route when light or natural-color cotton, reactive color depth, a soft hand-feel and a wash-free workflow are the priorities. Choose the Pigment route when both light and dark garments, a white-ink underbase and tunnel-dryer finishing fit the production plan.
